Compatibility with single cylinder engines
This kit is built to handle the weight and power of a V-Twin, but it can also accommodate most 12+ HP single cylinder engines. That versatility makes this kit a great choice if you’re looking to start out with one of those engines and upgrade to V-Twin down the road. If you plan to do this please note which engine you plan to use at the checkout.

This kit is built to handle the weight and power of a V-Twin, but it can also accommodate most 12+ HP single cylinder engines. That versatility makes this kit a great choice if you’re looking to start out with one of those smaller engines and upgrade to V-Twin down the road.

Note:
Our 13-24 HP v-twin kits are made for a standard 1" output shaft that is 2.85" long from the 5" bolt circle mounting surface. If you have a Briggs or Honda engine with a 1" output shaft it will be the right length.
Some of the cheaper import engine manufacturers make their 1" output shafts the same length as a standard 1 1/8 output shaft to fit more applications. The longer shaft on this type of engine will need to be cut down in order to work with this kit.
