FAQ

Should the Bell Housing get hot?
YES: It is normal for it to get hot.  It is pulling heat away from the engine and the bearing that is in the bell housing supporting the drive shaft will create heat as well.

Do I need to do any maintenance inside of the bell housing?
NO:  The bearing supporting the shaft is sealed and the coupler connecting the prop shaft to the engine output shaft is rigid and maintenance free.

Should my motor have slight vibration?
Yes: It is normal to feel a little vibration from the engine.  HOWEVER excess vibration could mean engine trouble or a bent shaft.
