Upper Bearing Housing Kit
This kit includes the upper bearing housing with one large sealed bearing installed and the bearing housing cap with seals and O-rings. Also included is the weld-on threaded bearing housing tube coupler (weldment). All threads on upper bearing system are right hand to prevent loosening due to shaft rotation.
*There are two options for the threaded weld-on bearing housing couplers (weldment). Choose correct one as check out.
-DOM Tube Build. This weldment is made for 1 3/8" 12 Gauge DOM tube. The OD is 1 3/8 and ID is 1.157" and the wall thickness is 0.109". The upper bearing housing adapter weldment slides over tube with a 1 3/8 OD. This is the better choice of tube if you are starting a build from scratch.
-Retro-fit old motor frame or water pipe build.- This weldment fits pipe with an OD of 1.32 inches and an ID of 1 inch. The upper bearing housing weldment slides over the the drive tube with an OD of 1.32 inch.This is often the correct weldment if water pipe is being used or if the kit is being used to retro-fit an old motor with new bearing system.
